There are lots of reasons not to vote. Not knowing enough about the candidates or what's at stake is a big one. Below is a quick and easy way to brush up on local elections, know what you're talking about, who to vote for, and why. We decided to also highlight candidates outside of the red vs. blue dynamic who stand on a relevant platform that is too often shortchanged by their long odds, as well as a few of the leading contenders.
