Submissions
The Free Press welcomes and encourages submissions in the form of written articles, videos, photographs, audio recordings, illustrations/comics, graphics, as well as forms we haven't thought of yet. We actively seek outside contributions, suggestions and tips to keep our content interesting and diverse. Students do not have to be registered members of the staff to contribute.
Pitches and submissions should be emailed to nsfreepress@gmail.com, and/or to a specific section editor, whose email addresses can be found in the About Us section of this site.
Articles, solicited or submitted, must adhere to the editorial process of the NSFP. This includes deadlines for first drafts and revisions. The editors of the Free Press reserve the right to reject submissions at their discretion, as well as to edit for length, grammar and clarity. They may also make requests and suggestions for more involved edits. Several drafts may be required before a submission is published. The contributor is welcome and encouraged to question or challenge edits in person or by email, but refusal or failure to make changes may result in the rejection of a submission.
